Importance of being involved in the netball community

If you’ve already been involved in netball you will have come across a volunteer who wants to help you be the best you can be. Whether that’s your teacher giving up their evening for your after school netball club, a coach who delivers your netball session every Monday evening even in the wind and rain, or even a fixtures secretary who’s up late into the evenings making sure we all have a games planned throughout the season and umpires to turn up at the right times. They do this because they love netball. We’ve all had that one person in our lives who’s been the best role model, and they’ve made our netball life that little bit more special.
